The Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH (FTC BiH) has announced that on the occasion of the visit of a business delegation from the United States of America (USA), the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize an event conference entitled “New path and opportunities for cooperation between the United States and the Western Balkan region”, which will be held on November 2 in Belgrade.
“Given the composition of the delegation of American representatives, this event is an excellent opportunity for all companies in the region, including those from Bosnia and Herzegovina, to establish new contacts and possible business cooperation with American companies. who have expressed their great interest in our region”, underlined FTC BiH.
The conference program includes two working panels on the IT industry and energy, after which B2B meetings will take place between American and Western Balkan companies.
Bosnia and Herzegovina‘s exports to the United States more than doubled in the first ten months of 2021 compared to 2020. According to FTC BiH data, in the nine months of this year, exports to the States United States amounted to 136.8 million KM, and the most exported items are arms and ammunition, furniture, bedding and mattresses. Bosnia and Herzegovina mainly imports mineral fuels and plastics from the United States, and the total import in nine months amounted to 246.8 million KM.
