The average net monthly salary in the Republika Srpska increased by 1.8% real year-on-year in June, reaching BAM 1,157 (EUR 592), the Republika Srpska Institute of Statistics (RSIS) announced on Friday.
In monthly comparison, the net salary increased by 3.6% in real terms.
The average net monthly salary increased by 3.2% in real terms last year to reach 1,004 BAM in June.
The average gross monthly salary was BAM 1,749 (EUR 894). In a separate report, the Banja Luka-based agency said industrial production in the Republika Srpska grew 1.6% a year in June, following a 10.3% increase in May.
On a monthly basis, however, industrial production fell 3% in June, after a revised drop of 2.3% the previous month.
The Serbian Republic is one of the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Federation.
