AutoWallis Group has opened the only Land Rover dealership in Slovenia, further increasing its retail business in the country, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

Together with the British brand, the members of the Hungarian group (Avto Aktiv and Wallis Motor Ljubljana) now sell a total of five vehicle brands in five Slovenian cities.

The newly opened 450 m² salon directly adjoins the capital’s sole BMW dealership, operated by Wallis Motor Ljubljana, facilitating a reduction in turnaround times for various brand-related services.

Commenting on the new concession, Péter Antal, director of the retail & services business unit of AutoWallis, said that this move supports one of the strategic objectives of AutoWallis to introduce and sell the brands represented by the group with the greatest possible coverage in the 14 countries of the region where the group operates. As well as Land Rover, the newly opened dealership also gives customers access to repairs from another British vehicle brand, Jaguar.

As part of the AutoWallis group, Wallis Automotive Europe has been the exclusive importer of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands in the Central and Eastern European market (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia , Slovenia) since 2016, which Hungary joined in spring 2020.
