Budapest, April 5, 2022 AutoWallis Group has successfully completed the business takeover and real estate purchase of Avto Aktiv, allowing the Hungarian-listed automotive company to focus on further growth. So far, AutoWallis has made two successful acquisitions in Slovenia, making mea major player in the national automotive distribution market: it markets 4 brands of vehicles in 5 cities and is studying the possibility of including additional brands and making new acquisitions.

With the payment of the purchase price, the AutoWallis Group successfully concluded the takeover of the vehicle sales and service activities and the purchase of the real estate properties of Avto Aktiv, a major car sales company in Slovenia. Avto Aktiv’s 2021 revenue of €46 million is significant even among previous deals and represents almost 10% of the company’s revenue for 2021. Avto Aktiv achieved this result through the sale of 795 new vehicles and 458 used vehicles as well as repairs and other related services. The nearly 30 years of experience, expertise, contacts and capital will help Slovenian subsidiaries thrive in the Slovenian retail market, potentially benefiting from even faster growth, while the synergies arising from their position are beneficial for both the company and its customers and customers.
