Minister Delic met with Executive Director of Dubai Investment Corporation – Sarajevo Times

Adnan Delic, tthe Minister of the Economy of the Canton Sarajevo (CS)met in Dubai with SE, MOhmillimeterandd Al Shaibani, Executive Director of the Dubai Investment Corporation (ICD).

The interlocutors discussed the possibilities and potential investments that the ICD company can bring to the CSas well as the improvement of trade and commercial relations between the CS and Dubai.

The joint conclusion of Minister Delic and Director Shaibani is that relations are good and there is quality space to strengthen cooperation.

Serious negotiations

I presented to HE Muhammad Al Shaibani several projects in CS which could be attractive for ICD companies to invest in, and I am pleased with his interest in the investment potentials of CS,” mentioned Minister Delic, and pointed out that this was the first meeting with the director of the ICD company.

He added that they had been communicating for some time with representatives of the ICD company, who expressed interest in investing in the CS.

This meeting is the beginning of deeper and more serious negotiations that we will continue in the following period, in order to carry out some of the delegated projectssaid Minister Delic.

The Minister used the margins of the trade talks and thanked Director Shaibani for everything they have done so far for our motherland, including the generous aid package from the beginning of the pandemic, and especially for the understanding and support for the organization of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) presentation at Expo 2020 Dubai.

ICD has been commissioned by the government of Dubai to globalize and popularize these services worldwide.

More favorable treatment has been agreed for citizens of BiH, who will now have to undergo airport procedures at the terminal with other European countries, whereas BiH was previously classified as a third world country.
