The Aquafarm show postponed for three months

The next editions of AquaFarm, NovelFarm and the new AlgaeFarm project are postponed from May 25-26 and 27, 2022 to February 25.

A special conference day is scheduled for May 27. In the 2020 edition, the fair recorded 35% foreign exhibitors and an international audience of 15% of the total from the Netherlands, Croatia, Spain, France, Egypt, Belgium, Bosnia –Herzegovina, Slovenia, Norway and Serbia.

“We have postponed the event to allow foreign visitors to also attend the event,” said Renato Pujatti, president of Pordenone Fiere.

The event provides an opportunity to discuss, network and keep up to date for all professionals. There is a series of lectures dealing with the latest topics that are essential to the future development of aquaculture and agro-industry. This year’s event will be complemented by AlgaeFarm, an event entirely dedicated to the cultivation of algae, the R&D AquaFarm competition which rewards innovative projects aimed at improving productivity in aquaculture. In addition, there is a special conference day dedicated entirely to a series of international conferences, including the IYAFA 2022 (International Year of Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture) seminar, organized in collaboration with FAO, API ( Italian Association of Fish Farmers) and the GFCM (General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean).

Over the years, the AquaFarm and NovelFarm fairs have been able to acquire an important role in the events of the fishing and agricultural sectors, and are unique in their field on the Italian and European scene.
