January 13, 2022 – The Republic of Croatia has become one of the countries in Nestlé’s new market which spans eleven nations, according to Alessandro Zanelli, Market Leader for the Southern and Eastern European market.
As Poslovni Dnevnik/Marta Duic writes, Nestlé, as one of the world’s leading and well-known companies in the food industry, has established the Southern and Eastern European Market (SEEM) and named Alessandro Zanelli as its market leader in January.
The countries belonging to this new market are Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Kosovo, Ukraine and Moldova.
The decision was made as part of the business transformation and represents an opportunity to achieve broader reach and growth across all categories, developing people and five new centers in the capitals of these new countries – Bucharest, Sofia, Zagreb, Belgrade and Kyiv. The newly formed market will include approximately 8,000 people and five new factories.
“This transformation enables faster recognition of business opportunities and profitable growth. With this brand new market structure, we will be able to achieve the most ambitious objectives and results and position ourselves at the top of all categories, in all of these territories. We want to strengthen our organization, make it more agile and more focused on people and our consumers,” explained Alessandro Zanelli, head of this new Nestlé market.
It is worth mentioning that Alessandro Zanelli is also set to take on the role of Market Director of Nestlé Ukraine and Moldova, and has, as noted, since been appointed to head the new Nestlé Market SEEM, where he will directly lead the markets of Ukraine and Moldova, based in Kiev, the Ukrainian capital.
