MINSK, September 20 (BelTA) – Belarus presented its national pavilion at the International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad in Serbia, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition company of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Belarus became the biggest foreign participant of the exhibition, with products from more than 30 companies on display. Among the exhibitors are well-known Belarusian brands, such as Soligorsk Poultry Factory (chicken and quail eggs), Molochny Mir (rennet and soft cheeses, sterilized milk, butter and cream), Belshina, Mogilevkhimvolokno, Lakokraska and Mining Wax Plant (new products from the chemical and petrochemical industries – tires for tractors, agricultural machinery and dump trucks, polyester fibers, paint materials, paraffins, waxes, lubricants and technological cooling means).
A number of innovative developments, including biotechnological solutions for the agro-industrial complex, are demonstrated by the institutes of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences. Preparations for the protection and stimulation of plant growth are presented by the Institute of Microbiology and the Institute of General and Bioorganic Chemistry. A human lactoferrin biosimilar used in medicine, pharmacy, cosmetology and the food industry is exhibited by the Scientific and Livestock Production Center.
The Scientific and Production Center for Agricultural Mechanization of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences has drawn the attention of Serbian farmers to a novelty – a semi-row harvester for harvesting chokeberry, black currant, gooseberry and rose hips.
Gomselmash, one of the leaders in the world market for complex agricultural machinery, demonstrates the capabilities of Palesse combine harvesters. Samples of equipment produced by Minsk Tractor Works, Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units and other manufacturers of agricultural machinery are displayed in the open space of the Belarus-Agropanonka joint venture exhibition.
The events were attended by a representative delegation from Belarus, including Minister of Industry Pyotr Parkhomchik, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich, First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Belarusian Sciences Sergei Chizhik, and the heads of exporting companies.
The exhibition presented the industrial potential of Belarus. A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Belkommunmash and the Serbian company Tekhnograd to establish an assembly plant for electric buses. Numerous meetings and consultations took place on the sidelines of the exhibition.
Belarusian companies held negotiations with several dozen representatives of regional companies and discussed cooperation in a number of areas. In particular, Serbian farmers have expressed interest in purchasing self-propelled apple harvesting machines produced by the Scientific and Research Center for Agricultural Mechanization of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences.
The Exhibition of Belarusian Manufacturers Made in Belarus was organized by the Belinterexpo Exhibition Company of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event is supported by the Belarusian Embassy in Serbia and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Novi Sad International Agricultural Fair 2021 is the largest exhibition in South-Eastern Europe. More than 600 companies are participating in this year’s exhibition. National pavilions were presented by nine countries: Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Russia and Spain. The exhibition will run until September 24.
