The NBA announcement on saturday he fined Charlotte hornets center Dwight Howard $ 35,000 for making an obscene gesture on the field in Friday’s 100-99 loss to the The Cleveland Cavaliers.

The eight-time All-Star’s statistical output plummeted after leaving the Magic of Orlando in 2012, while he had disappointing journeys with the the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston rockets.

Although he’s no longer the MVP contender he was for the last five of his eight seasons with the Magic, the three-time defensive player of the year has been a key contributor for Charlotte.

Howard led the Hornets with 20 points and 13 rebounds against the Cavs, and he’ll be back in action against the Visitors on Saturday. San Antonio Spurs.
